Flax
The flax family, Linaceae, comprises on approximately 230 varieties throughout world.  Linum angustifolium is natural flax discovered previously such as the 3000 BC Swiss Lake Dwellings.  Linum usitatissimum is the plant that was considered the fiber producer and mostly used in the fiber history. Flower of this plant is blue colored and its stem was used for the fiber production. Its seeds were used for the oil extractions and for the medicinal use. At that time nobody knows the flax.  After that it was hypothesized by someone and introduced flax that is the importance of this plant. At that time the flax was grown very fine but at the present flax is not growing well as compare to the ancient flax.

Cotton
No one familiar accurately how old cotton is. Scientists searching laboratories in Mexico discovered small parts of cotton bolls as well as parts of cloth made by cotton that confirmed the history of the cotton at least 7,000 years old. They also discovered that the cotton production grown highly in America today. 3,000 years BC in the Indus River Valley in Pakistan, cotton was being cultivated and woven clothes. At the same time, Egyptians used cotton clothes and made clothes.
